Riksdag

The Riksdag is the swedish parliament. Stay in the island of Helgeandsholmen and is a very important and beautiful building near the real palace. It was built between 1897 and 1905 by architect Aron Johansson and it was later retored and expanded. During the work were discovered numerous archaeological remains such as the remains of the wall of the city of Stockholm early sixteenth century. The big hole left by the excavations soon took the name of Riksgropen. Later this area became Age Museum Media.El Swedish Parliament is unicameral and consists of 349 elected to serve for a period of four years.The Riksdag name derives from the name "riksens Ständer" expression referring to the congregation of representatives from each level was divided society.
